Provision (rizq)
For lawful provision and independence from others
The Prophet ﷺ taught this du'a to a man burdened by debt, telling him that even a debt the size of a mountain would be settled by Allah. It asks for two things at once: enough lawful provision to never need the unlawful, and independence from everyone except Allah. Say it whenever money worries or debt press on you.
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allāhumma-kfinī bi-ḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmika wa aghninī bi-faḍlika ʿamman siwāk
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful against what You have forbidden, and make me independent of all others besides You by Your grace.
Authenticity: Hasan (good), reported by at-Tirmidhi (3563).
