The du'a of Laylat al-Qadr
When Aisha asked the Prophet ﷺ what to say if she found Laylat al-Qadr, the night better than a thousand months, he taught her exactly this du'a. It asks for the one thing that matters most on that night: Allah's pardon. Repeat it through the last ten nights of Ramadan.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allāhumma innaka ʿafuwwun tuḥibbu-l-ʿafwa faʿfu ʿannī
O Allah, You are Most Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me.
Authenticity: Sahih (authentic), reported by at-Tirmidhi (3513).

Frequently asked
Why is this the recommended du'a for Laylat al-Qadr?
Because the Prophet ﷺ chose it himself for Aisha when she asked what to say on that night, focusing the believer on seeking Allah's pardon.
When is Laylat al-Qadr?
It is one of the odd nights in the last ten of Ramadan (the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th), so seek it across all of them.
