Du'a of Ibrahim for praying children
This is the du'a the Prophet Ibrahim made in old age, asking Allah not only to keep him steadfast in prayer but to make prayer live on in his children and their children. Recorded in the Qur'an (surah Ibrahim, 14:40), it is the go-to supplication for parents who want their family, not just themselves, to hold on to salah. Say it for your descendants after prayer and in sujud.
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbi-j'alni muqima s-salati wa min dhurriyyati, rabbana wa taqabbal du'a
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and from my descendants too. Our Lord, accept my supplication.
