The du'a that protects from harm
This short invocation places your day under Allah's protection. The Prophet ﷺ said that whoever says it three times in the morning and three times in the evening, no sudden harm will befall him until the next morning or evening. It is one of the simplest and most powerful adhkar of protection.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillāhi-lladhī lā yaḍurru maʿa-smihi shay'un fi-l-arḍi wa lā fi-s-samā'i wa huwa-s-samīʿu-l-ʿalīm
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm, neither on earth nor in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
