Hasbiyallah (the verse of reliance)
This is the closing verse of surah at-Tawba, which Allah told the Prophet ﷺ to say if people turned away from him. In one breath it declares Allah enough, affirms His oneness, and hands your whole affair to Him as the Lord of the Mighty Throne. Reach for it when anxiety, fear or an impossible situation weighs on you.
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Ḥasbiyallāhu lā ilāha illā huwa, ʿalayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul-ʿarshil-ʿaẓīm
Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but Him. In Him I put my trust; He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.

How often
There is no fixed count; repeat it with a present heart whenever you need it. Some report saying it seven times, morning and evening, though this practice is weak; the verse itself is enough.

What is the difference between Hasbiyallah and Hasbunallah?
Both come from the Qur'an and mean Allah is sufficient. Hasbunallah wa ni'mal-wakil (3:173) is in the plural (Allah is enough for us), while Hasbiyallah in 9:129 is in the singular (Allah is enough for me) and adds the affirmation of His oneness and Lordship over the Mighty Throne.
When is this verse recited?
Whenever you are gripped by worry, fear or a burden larger than you, and especially when people fail or turn away from you. It is a declaration of tawakkul, placing your trust and your whole affair in Allah alone.
